Bimblebox

The Bimblebox Nature Refuge in the heart of Queensland in
Australia may soon become the largest open pit coal mine in the world.
Gritty
Paola Cassoni stands in the way, though.
Paola,
who had signed land ownership with the state to protect the nature refuge, is
fighting every inch of the way to stop the move. It may deliver 40 million
tonnes of coal every year, essentially for export markets, but would destroy
the land.
A
film by Michael O'Connell and Haw River Films.
